Biography
My name is Awat Hassan Faqe Nabi. I am a lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Raparin, Kurdistan Region, Iraq.
I hold a B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering and an M.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structures, Since 2017. I've been a member of the Kurdistan Engineering Union (KEU). Also, I have been a lecturer in the Environmental and Civil Engineering Department at Soran University in 2023-2024.
My research interest is Structure.
Philosophy of Teaching
Teaching in civil engineering emphasizes lifelong learning, problem-solving, and bridging theory with practice. It should cultivate technical mastery, critical thinking, and ethical responsibility while preparing students to design safe, sustainable structures.
I emphasize teaching students to think first like structural engineers, not calculators. I will do my best to achieve this goal, and I will use all the methods of the Bologna process
